1. Blake, tell us a bit about the last Garuda event you played?

I played the Garuda night at Space in Miami for WMC back in March.  It was a great time and one of my favorite WMC gigs I've ever played in the past 10 years I've been attending the conference. We broadcasted it live and the reactions both from the dance floor and from the people listening at home made it something to remember.

2. What makes a Garuda event so special?

Gaz picks great artists for the lineup that are not only great producers and DJs, but we're all good friends outside of the DJ booth.  It's really fun to play an event with a stacked lineup of your mates, it adds something special to the vibe.

3. Have you played Governor's Island Beach Club before?

I played Governors Island with Armin Van Buuren for a special event that the Dutch royal family attended about 2 years ago.  It was a daytime event and I remember taking the ferry over and seeing the Statue of Liberty for the first time in person.  I have played many great events at some amazing clubs at night in New York, but playing outdoors in the big apple with the city skyline in sight was pretty amazing.

4. What can we expect from your set?

Tons of great tunes with loads of energy and summery vibes.  I'm busy in the studio finishing up new tracks so people might get a first listen to what I've been working on.

5. Where else can we catch you perform this summer?

You can catch me at my residency at Marquee in Las Vegas and various gigs and festivals Iike Liv in Miami, A Day At The Park Festival in Amsterdam, Amnesia in Ibiza, Somerset Festival, and of course The Garuda event at Governors Island.
